Our libraries are some of the few remaining public buildings where everyone can spend time or free; studying, reading or just having some quiet time. They are valuable community assets and belong to all of us.
The Council are threatening to cut the budget for libraries across Barnet which could see Childs Hill close and Golders Green either reduced to a single small room or be completely unstafed for approx 60% of opening hours. To find out more and “have your say” we invite you to attend a public meeting on:
Tuesday 10th Feb
All Saints School hall at 7:30pm
(next door to Childs Hill Library on Cricklewood Lane).
Sarah Sackman Labour MP Candidate, Cllr Shimon Ryde, Conservative
Councillor for Childs Hill and Cllr Jack Cohen, Leader of the Barnet Liberal
Democrats will attend to share their views and listen to the community.
Please pass this invitation to your contacts, friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues and encourage as many people as possible to attend.
